The TrustedCloudProvider (TCP) is a certification that fosters trust in Cloud computing platforms, with a special focus on enterprise users in the German market. It covers datacenter facility quality, cloud functionality, processes and transparency topics and adds a non-mandatory customer-certification to ensure proper use of elaborate cloud services. In order to avoid double effort caused by overlappings with existing certifications, the design integrates european and international standards such as ISO 27001.
